I really enjoyed the Ansel Adams exhibit I went to at the beginning of the semester. His black and white images especially caught my eye. His subtle approach and simplicity in the images said a lot about his images. he lest nature do most of the talking for him and I think this is especially true in the shot of half dome. This was my favorite image of the exhibit. the huge dome was the main part of the photo while the distant moon hovered over it during the day. the balck and whit shot was alive with the power of natural site and it gave it more depth.

The second video we viewed today was on Carrie Wae Meems who is an African American photographer. I enjoyed her historical photos that re-enacted some of our nations most horrific events. These include the assignation of Robert F Kennedy and the student massacre at Kent State.
